Made this today and they came out perfect! Thank you!
Fantastic! I’m so happy you enjoyed the potatoes! 🥔😋
Very good video production. No loud, distraction “cute” music or obnoxious intros, camera focuses where it needs to when it needs to – well done! Off to bake some potatoes in my unit.
Thank you so much! Hope you enjoy the potatoes! 😋😋
@Melanie Cooks 2 things you did wrong is, 1. Too much oil and you are putting the oil on the potatoes over the air fryer, all you need is 1 small tea spoonful , 2. You need to put the fork spikes fully through, it will save you money and give you a better baked potato.
I know just what you mean. Music in hiw- to videos jusu annoys me. I want to focus on what is being said.
It’s 4am n I woke up in the middle of the night n my first thought was “can I make a baked potato in the air fryer”. Thank you for answering that and showing me the way. I know what I’m making for lunch
You are welcome! Hope you enjoy! 😋
This is exactly my brain 😂
Bruhhhh me rn
Omg how you know😂😂
Can you bake without oil?
I have found that the following process allows more moisture to escape from the jackets and I get even better results than I do when I oil them from the beginning. Salting is key for the crispiest results! Use more salt than you would normally, and knock some off when they’re done, before serving if desired,….although I never do. (I use Diamond Kosher which has less sodium than other brands and they are seasoned perfectly)
1. Poke them all the way around the potato
2. Put them in the air fryer and set the time for 45 minutes
3. Remove them at 25 minutes
4. Let them cool off for 10 or 15 minutes
5. Rub them with oil and salt them heavily with Kosher salt. (the oil helps the salt stick and the salt will make the jackets crispier)
6. Place them back in the air fryer for the remaining time
7. Insert a sharp knife to ensure they’re done and if it doesn’t slide in easily, add more time
Fluffy, crispy, delicious results! Try it! You can tap on the jacket but it’s not too tough to eat.
Thanks for the tips! 😋👍
Sounds really good but sadly I am allergic to salt
@MICHELLE COOK wow what do you eat ?? Sodium is in everything including water
@Mia Pia Most salt is bad for you, use “Real Salt” … it has none of the bad stuff in it. A salt that is good for you.
@MICHELLE COOK Salt is essential for life. Nobody is allergic to sodium. Get a better doctor.
Great video! Straight to the point! I love your end results. This will most definitely be the ONLY way I make baked potatoes from now in! Thanks for the tut!

Looks great. I just got an air fryer. It’s amazing and I love it. Simple to make them in an hour air fryer instead of oven/less mess.
Awesome! Please let me know how they turned out!
Thank you for making it quick and easy and giving specific times and temperatures. 🥔

I just tried your baked potatoes tonight. I’m very new to air fryers. My first time I ever used one was yesterday.
Wow,. That was one of the best baked potatoes I ever had. And so easy to make too I can’t remember having better one.
These are definitely something I’ll be making often from now on. Baked potatoes only go in the air fryer from now on.🙂
