    1. See now im buying one. All thid time I never knew. Thought it just made good chicken nuggets crispy.

    2. All you need to do for the pizza is flip the dough then it crispy on both sides. After that add the sauce and cheese and stuff

  2. I’d say FLIP the crust after you do the par bake so it would be crispy on the bottom, too 🙌🏽

  3. Other reasons to get an airfryer include… when its summer or you live in a hot country and you don’t want to use the oven because it generates too much heat! Also for a lot of people who have a small oven, when you are cooking a large meal it is effectively an extra small oven 🙂 perfect for christmas dinner sides

    1. Oh, this is so true. I live in AZ and used my air fryer everyday this past summer. It’s quicker and I don’t have to cool down my house another 3-4 hours after making dinner. I love my air fryer.

    2. I am looking forward to using my AF. I have a wonderful full size convection/regular oven, but it heats the house too much in the summer.

  4. Pizza in the air fryer using naan bread takes literally five minutes and is some of the best pizza I have ever had hands down and you don’t have to worry about your dough not be cooked take two minutes of prep dinner in 7 minutes you can’t beat that

    1. this sounds like such a good idea thank u omg; do u have any other super quick and easy to make ideas like that?

    2. @Voltrono seriously, if air fryer pizza is the best pizza you’ve ever had then you need to branch out

  5. I did the banana bread recipe and added some walnuts instead of oatmeal. Perfect recipe! Just the right sweetness and perfectly cooked in the air fryer. Everyone loved it. Never thought to use maple syrup in banana bread before seeing this video

  6. Tip: When handling thick batter for the piping bag, it’s not that the piping tip is too small, it’s that the bag is not thick enough to handle the pressure. For thicker batter, double or even triple bag and the same tip should work.

    1. Unless I need a shape I just use a zip lock then the corner off to the size I want.

  7. Accidentally came upon your channel and ABSOLUTELY agree with your opinion on not using oven for 1-2 people. I love the recipes that you come up with using your air fryer.. New subscriber

  8. Just want say as someone who lives in a hotel room for well over 3/4 of the year having an air fryer is so unbelievably helpful with cooking

    1. Do you travel with the air fryer or do you go to the same hotel so you can have them store it for you?

  9. I made the same mistake with pizza. Even using a baked pita shell you have to blind bake the crust on both sides until crispy before adding ingredients. With this dough, you would need to cook for awhile on both sides. Also, the dough should be a little thinner as the air fryer tends to really puff up any type of pastry due to the convection.

  10. You’re one of my favorite channels, thank you for all you do, gives me confidence in the kitchen!

  11. I have done this pizza recipe in my own air fryer and its amazing!!!! If you do your pre cook on the dough then flip it before you put on the toppings the bottom can be a bit more crispy I found! Love the videos keep up the quality content!

  12. I make breaded chicken tenders like normal, but I mix about 1 T of oil into the bread crumbs before breading all of them, so each one really has very little oil on it. Then air fry, and they come out totally crispy and delish!

  13. I got an air fryer recently and honestly, for someone who’s disabled and has both motivational issues but also mobility. I can actually cook for myself again. So the convience is amazing for sure! Really excited to start finding more recipes 🙂

    1. I struggle with both those issues, what size did you get? I’m worried the 5.8 quart will be heavy/hard to clean? Thinking the smaller ome

    2. That’s awesome! I can’t wait to get one myself…I have RA and it’s a struggle to do anything when it’s in a flare

    3. It is doing the same for me. I have a pressure cooker now too! The stove just fills the hole in between the cabinets now. I would rather eat at home these days. lol

  14. The trick to airfryer cauliflower wings is to fry until firm, and then toss in oil, and return to the fryer for crisping. It’s way better.

  15. We’ve made a pizza in the air fryer. After that first 6 minutes, Flip the dough, spray or rub a bit of oil on it and then add the toppings. Keep checking it in 10 minute increments and spray a little avocado oil over the top for best results instead of olive oil. Makes it nice and crispy. Doesn’t matter if it’s thick or thin crust, same technique applies . The air fryer cooks from the top, so that’s why you have to flip and spray everything to get them crispy on both sides.

    1. Thank you for this tip! I am about to try pizza in mine and I wouldn’t have thought of that.

    2. How can you flip the dough? The basket is deep so you have to throw it from height?

  16. On the apples…try sprinkling on some apple cider drink mix before you cook them. It’s absolutely incredible!

  17. I have an air fryer sitting in my garage and 75 years old it’s hard for me to change that you have taught me a lot about air dry Thank you you’re a good teacher

    1. You only have a couple of years on me, and I will tell you this was a game-changer. I only use my oven now for those things that won’t fit in the air fryer.

  18. If you seal off the slots in the basket, the hot air cannot circulate underneath the dough. The bottom cannot cook. This is a common mistake when using air fryers as though they are mini regular ovens. You could have flipped the dough over and gotten a better result.

    1. Exactly. Flipping the dough over and giving it another few minutes will give you the crispy crust.

  19. I have been blessed by an air fryer similar to what you have. It is great to watch and learn what you are doing. I am cooking meals now in such a short time. I’m 76 and disabled and this air fryer is such a blessing. Keep cooking for us.. thank you so much!

  20. I’m baking German sourdough in our airfryer. We don’t have a traditional oven anymore 🙂 If you want something easy, you can make a pizza dough from your starter, some flour, and a bunch of seeds, bake that for 10 minutes in the air fryer, and then top with your toppings and bake again for 10-18 minutes. The air fryer is still underrated 😀
